Question for the day......(please leave your answer with or without your name in the comments) When you see parents that have the backpack on their kid that is attached to a "leash" like thing that the parents are holding - What do you think????

I think they should get a dog if they want to walk around with a leash in their hands.
I used to be against them, until my 3 year old ran off on me in the local grocery store. I haven't bought one, yet, but I sure do think about it when I see them on display at Steve's favorite store.......Wally World!
I guess I'm in the minority but I see a parent who is doing all they can for the protection and safety of their child. Having had several foster toddlers, I know how quickly they can disappear and how frightening that is. It's a scary world out there!
I'm with Judy. Do what ever you can to protect your child. When kids are little, they do not want to stay by your side, this way, it gives them a little space of their own, safely. aunt angie

I think if they can't control their child, they should stay home. (this coming from me, a parent of a runner lol) So many days I wish I had a leash :)
I dont like to see kids on leashes, and i am even more happy that they didnt have them when i was a kid, I would have just chewed thru it anyway

I would use duck tape first before I'd resort to a leash!

Strap them in their stroller!! If they start yelling, use duct tape or take them home!!
