Tuesday November 13

Man - just been so busy I haven't had a chance to write lately. I have been being lazy in the evening. Well, not really but when I have "my" time I have been knitting. I love knitting. But I noticed this weekend as I was putting my knitting stuff in a new knitting organizer I bought that I have alot of started projects that I need to complete. So, I think I will work on those before I make any trips to the craft store and buy more yarn! Its hard because they are always coming out with pretty yarns and you see it and think you need it. Well, based on all the started projects I don't need it.

Feeling good. My incision were hurting quit a bit at the end of last week. I just took it easy when I got home at night and tried to relax as much as possible and they felt pretty good by Sunday. I really haven't had too much trouble with eating any food I want. I even ate medium wings on Friday night for supper. Not too many of them but I ate some!

We had the big kids last night. And boy are they always full of stories after the weekend at their mom's. Some of them I believe and others well, let's say may not be the whole truth and nothing but the truth. They may be some of the truth. Ashley got some cool things for a birthday party they had for her. She seemed to like all them. She had $39.00 and then was telling me how she didn't have anymore face cleaner things at her mom's house ( I usually buy them for her) and I told her she has more money then I have so she can go get her some next time they go to Wal-mart!! She said - Oh yeah...... I think she forgot she just showed me the wallet full of money. lol!

I tell you Piper is a fruit girl. You stick any fruit in front of her and she will just chow down. She loves kiwi. She doesn't even give me time to clean it before she is just plain upset about not eating it yet! But I realized the other night I am not doing so good with vegetables. I need to figure out a way to get her to eat some veggies. She hates green beans. She is ok with peas and carrots. And she seems to like corn. But man - we really have to try some others on her. I guess I keep forgetting to give them to her because we don't do a good job with them. Before Piper I always served veggies on the night the big kids were there - but now - POOF! I have no brain and I get wrapped up in dealing with her while I am making dinner and I forget to do them. I need to make a better effort! Not like it won't do me some good too!!!

Steve and I had our "new" meal on Sunday. We had a turkey tenderloin/spinach/oranges meal thing. It was good. It was worth the try. And while eating it we decided other ways we would like to try it. If anybody is interested I will send you the recipe - very easy and very quick meal!
