Monday......... and Monday after the time change!!! I will have to say this - I love the daylight savings time. I love that it stays light later (except for putting a little one to bed) but it is nice to have an evening when you get home. But for like the first week or two after the change.... it just kicks my butt. Last night 10 - I am WIDE awake.... now I know I need to go to sleep but it ain't happening! Then this morning I felt like a mac truck hit me! I did not want to get up to save my life. Piper was the same way and so was Steve! I bet it won't take too many days of getting up to get us in the groove of bed time!

We had a nice weekend..... we had the big kids this weekend.

Friday - was so nice out when Piper and I got home. Steve had to pick Ashley up from basketball practice and play carpool that night so it was later when he got home. I was worried about how late it would be when he got home and waiting to have supper. SHOOT Piper and I were outside and then the neighbors came home! Piper was alittle shy at first and then it was ON! Tim and Kim are great with her! Tim took her for a ride in their power wheels....... Sorry Larry and Jill we will be visiting often!!! I will just apologize now!! Unless you wanted another kid in your house! We are thinking about getting her one for her birthday. They had a little one seater jeep at Toys R Us for 129 - I told Steve - but it only seats one - and he said "HOW MANY LITTLE KIDS DO WE HAVE" - oh yeah - duh!!!

So we had supper late and it was fine... Piper got a bath and the big kids chilled.

Saturday we went to the mall and I came down with a migraine. NICE! We stopped and got my migraine meds filled and that was a shock. It only cost me $20 but my insurance saved me $357.29 for 12 - yes 12 pills! HOLY SHIT! I could've never bought those without insurance. Just crazy. Then we went home Piper and I both napped and Steve and kids cleaned out vehicles, the garage and worked in the back yard. I would've loved to help but that was not happening!! Then that evening we went to Huntington to visit with the family! It was a nice time. Mom made some good supper and Piper got to play with Norah and my dad got to learn more about their new car.

My parents have a new car and it has lots of bells and whistle that are just kicking their asses!!! Steve is their car computer consultant!!

Sunday Steve's dad came over for lunch. He said he wanted to come over and visit - I think he wanted a home cooked meal! He pretty much ate and left!! Oh well, I even gave him some of the leftovers so that he has something good for part of the week. And then we took the big kids back to thier mom's house. We hit Target (again for the second time this weekend) and it was during that horrible storm. Hmmmmmm...... I seemed alot less worried about the storm while shopping. Of course we had no idea it was that bad!!! lol....

Everybody watching American Idol this year???? I would have to say I don't really care for the format that they are doing things this year. I don't like the whole top 3 from each week, etc. etc. I am ready for them to have the top ones and hit the big stage! I don't really know who is my favorite yet..... still forming my opinions!

Last night Steve had to work late... I hate those nights. No help at home and then he is just beat when he gets home! But I am glad he has such a great job and me too! I don't really want to work anymore - but hey who does.... but this week I am really grateful that we have jobs!

Last night when I picked up Piper from school we were walking down the hall checking out all the pictures on the wall. She stopped at this one set that had Jesus on it with some kids.... the one year olds had colored them. I said "Who is that?" to which as clear as can be my kid replied "Jesus" lol...... I about lost it... I could not wait to tell her dad this one!!! So when dad called home I told her to say "Jesus" and she did!!! It was so cute!

I am ready for spring. My friend and I at work today on lunch were talking about all the painting I want to do in our house this year.... got me excited! And we are getting the outside of the house painted too! That will spruce up things!!

On another friends blog I heard this awesome song....It won't be like this for long...Darius Rucker. Man I thought "In My Daughters Eyes" was a tear jeaker..... thanks Jill for the awesome song! But man can't make it threw the song without tears....

Hello everybody! YES I am alive!!!! But then you all knew that because my hubby isn't in jail for cutting me up in little pieces and puttin' me in the freezer (yet)!

It has been one hell of a couple of months..... I am totally getting where I HATE end of Dec, all of January and February! My work is very busy! For the most part that should all chill out a bit and kinda go back till normal and then be totally normal by April!

For all of you reading my hubby blogs....YUCK - you should see all this shit in person! Today I took him to the dr. for another follow up appt. and you should've seen the scab they pulled out today! It was insane that something that long and big could possibly fit up his nose! He isn't feeling the best the last couple of weeks. Every since he had that bad nose bleed he has had a headache. So I lots of questions today for the dr. about nose bleeds and are they going to STOP! I hope he gets feeling better soon. But I REALLY want him better by spring so he can bike! (Plus I have some work for him to do!)

I wasn't feeling the best myself yesterday. I had a pukey feeling in my stomach and just real, real tired and run down. So I decided to stay home yesterday and Steve did too. I really just wanted to lay around and sleep off and on - so I had Steve take Piper to daycare because that would've not been possible if she stayed home. He was on one end of the sofa and I was on the other.

While we were chillin' I decided to catch up on my recorded Oprah shows ( to punish my hubby too!) Talk about freakin' depressing! The first one we watched was about the lady that had 8 babies... her dad was on there talking about her and the babies. And he isn't convinced of her mental state- NICE! She has 14 kids and he wants Oprah to help him get her checked out!

Second one was about the people in Sacremento Cali who have lost their homes and are living in tent city or the mother who was walking from shelter to shelter with her 3 kids!!! MAN - I did not do well during this show! I can not believe this. I know the economy is bad - I read - I hear it..... I don't see it. Seriously! I have a job - my hubby has a job. All our family has jobs and homes and can afford stuff and so do all our friends. This about killed me. Some of the people living in that tent city had 3, 4, 5 grown children - but they didn't want to burden them. HOLY SHIT! I would NEVER let ANY of our family live like that. We can all buddy up! And for our parents...... I will hurt them if they ever live like that when I have a home for them to live in and they just don't want to "burden" me! I have to say it all broke my heart and I want to do something. I just don't know where to start. People like us, and people that have jobs that can spare some food, money - whatever - it's time for us to MAN UP! I will be thinking about this and trying to find a way to help somebody - somehow.

Next one I watched was Oprah visiting Walter Reed Army Hospital. OH SHIT as if I wasn't already on rock bottom. How touching was this..... these soldiers....... the limbs they have lost and they are just so happy to be alive. I do not agree with the war in Iraq - the reasons we went there but I want our troops to be safe and come home alive and well.

If you haven't seen these shows but have a way to on demand them or some how get to watch them - DO IT!

On some positive up lifting notes......family is all doing well. Ashley's basketball will be wrapping up soon. I think she will be disappointed as I think it was a social thing for her. Riley had some grades fall - but is working his butt off to get them back up. Piper is just crazy! She makes me play NON-STOP. I have to play babies, color, stickers, now making bead necklaces, kitchen, playdough and more! Just non-stop. When I tell her I have to take a break and go do some chore - she follows me around the house saying "Done" I have to tell her "no not yet" and she just keeps asking until I am done have time to play again! I am way to old for this shit!!! But no really, she is hitting a fun stage. Now, we need to start working on potty training. I am just not in any hurry for that I guess!

Another thing..... is everybody elses house just freakin dirty from winter????? Every where I look I have cobwebs, dust - dirt. I have not been a good housekeeper since I had Piper. I don't have time. But still - I think it is the house being closed up for several months with no air - but the gas forced air! And we have SHIT(junk) everywhere! We buy too much. Our kids have too much and my husband has too much!!! lol.......

Kinda a funny..... Steve took Riley's Nintendo DS away from him for his grades. Well, being that Steve and I are so young in age..... we took it from him and put it somewhere..... now we just can't remember where that somewhere is....... Anybody else know??????
