Not much going on - on my blog. WOW! My husband knows how to start the fires! He really is a very caring, loving person. Just likes to push everybodies buttons and get everybody all worked up.

Last night we had the big kids. They seem to be ok. Other than being tired for staying up late. They better enjoy summer at their mom's house. We have a bed time at our house even in the summer and a get up time. And they will have daily chores and homework to do. I bet they are looking forward to coming to our house don't you think!!! I plan on having a daily list of chores for them to do. I won't ask them to do much - but there is no reason I should work all day and come home to a mess at home! I do that now!

I took Piper for a walk last night and the big kids rode their bikes. Steve was suppose to catch up to us... well, he was working on putting our new cholorinator in (pool part) and it just didn't go the way it was suppose to. I felt bad for him. He worked on it for like 2.5 hours and then in the end it was still leaking. Shit! Then he was in a bad mood - so I just read my book and kept to myself.

I know I have complained before but last night was the worse it seemed.... it was daylight at 9:40 - felt like it was like 7:30 - I just keep working away. That is just crazy. What if you wanted to go to bed early? Freaky - it's just freaky to see the time and look outside!

A funny Piper story from the weekend. Well, we are at Meijer on Saturday night. In the shoe department. Ashley had to go to the bathroom (as always - I think she just likes bathrooms) Riley is trying on shoes, Piper is wandering around and picks up black shoe polish..... I am worried at this point about Ashley so I start dialing my phone - to which I hear Piper making noises at me.... and I look down and she has black shoe polish all over her.... all over her new tennis shoes, running down her arm, all over her legs, a spot or two on her shirt and all over from about her knees down..... and all over Meijer floor. Now I take the bottle from her so I now have it all over me..... I look at Steve and ask him how am I going to get her to the bathroom to clean her up - to which he replies - I don't know.... Finally I scoop her up and take her to the bathroom and wouldn't you know it - any other time I would love the air hand dryers (more environmentally nice) but not this time - there is no papertowel to clean her and me up! So I go in the stall and get tons of toilet paper and get us cleaned up! Well, it came off our skin..... it didn't come off those new tennis shoes we just got her. Oh well, I am sure this is just the start of spending money and things getting ruined!

You really brought back memories for me. Men try to fix something & it puts them in a bad mood. I don't think that ever changes.
Funny story in meijers. It probably didn't bother daddy at all but Mommies always get the messes to clean. How old is she?
With Tim & Josh, what one didn't think of the other did. Josh glued his hands to gether once. He thought it was so funny until we couln't get them apart. I always bought two gallons of milk - one to drink & one to spill.
You are now making the best memories of your life -enjoy them while you can -thier up & gone before you know it.
You sound like me with the bedtime- I always felt it was needed, for my sanity if for nothing else.
I love giving Weber a ruff time. I look forward to meeting you both. Have a good weekend. Josh's Mom

Piper is going to be 2 in August- Ashley is 13 and Riley is 11. So we have all the fun with teenagers and toddlers! I can't wait to meet you too! In regards to bed time....I learned that from my own mom and she says the same thing you do - about needing it for her sanity!

i bet it was actually Josh's mom that glued his hands together...trying to do just anything to get him to stop playing with his ding-a-ling!
